Privacy policy

Timely is a time-clock service operated by IBEX FORCE, LLC, a Florida limited liability company. This policy covers Timely on the web and as an installed app, including when you reach it at a custom domain.

We collect only what we need to run your clock and teams:

Account. Name, email, and sign-in identifiers from Google, X, or the email you use for a login link.

Hours. Clock-ins, clock-outs, lunch, and any past shifts you or a team admin add.

Teams. Team name, color, optional workplace contact fields, who is on the team, and invites.

Device basics. A session cookie so you stay signed in, and a theme preference stored on your device. We load a font from Google Fonts, which may see your IP address as part of that request.

To sign you in, keep your hours, run Teams, send login links, verification, and invites, and to keep the service secure. We do not use your information for ads, and we do not sell it.

Personal hours stay on your personal clock. They are not shown to a team.

If you clock in on a Team, that team’s admin can see those hours. Other members cannot. If you leave, frozen hours may remain for the admin’s records.

If you continue with Google, you also use Google under its Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Google sends us a name and identifier, and sometimes an email, so we can open your Timely account.

If you continue with X, you also use X under its Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. X sends us a name, identifier, and sometimes a username.

If you use email, we send a one-time login or verification link to that address through our email provider.

We use companies as service providers to host Timely, store data, send email, and handle Google or X sign-in. They get only what they need for that job. They are not allowed to sell your information.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect Timely and the people who use it.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. Theme choice is stored on your device. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.

You must be at least 13, or older if the law where you live requires it. Timely is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have, we will delete it. A parent or guardian can write to [email protected].

In Account you can export your data as JSON and permanently delete your account. You can also email [email protected] to access, correct, or delete what we hold, or to ask a question. We will verify it is you before we act.

Because we do not sell or share personal information for ads, there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information in electronic form, as Florida law requires. No method is perfect.

If a breach of personal information affects you, we will notify you as soon as practicable and no later than 30 days after we determine a breach occurred, unless a shorter time is required. If 500 or more Florida residents are affected, we will also notify the Florida Department of Legal Affairs.

We keep account and hour records while your account is open, and team hours as long as they are needed for that team’s records. After you delete your account, we remove your personal data except what we must keep for legal, security, or backup reasons for a short time.

We may update this policy. The new version will be posted in Timely with a new effective date. Continued use after that date means you accept it.
